Honoring the Past. Celebrating the Present. Reimagining the Future.

My People's Market is bringing together more than 100 multicultural vendors and performing artists to Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, and Re-imagine the Future at the Rose Quarter Commons. This family event on June 30 offers live music, food, drinks, and shopping. The African American community had a rich history linked to the site of this year’s event at the edge of the Albina district. The June Market will include an on-site exhibit which will examine the history of the area and the enduring role African American-owned businesses have played in Portland’s economy.

My People's Market

My People’s Market is designed and supported by

Prosper Portland and Travel Portland

Launched in November 2017, this event brought the diverse and vibrant communities of Portland together to celebrate entrepreneurs, makers, artist, culinary wizards, and beverage crafters.

The market grew from the desire to create pathways for entrepreneurs of color to connect with the travel industry and new market opportunities.
